Why $ per 10,000 km beats sticker price
A $189 tire warrantied for 95,000 km really costs $19.89 per 10,000 km. A $198 tire warrantied for 50,000 km costs $39.60 — nearly double, despite the friendlier sticker. Price hides that; division doesn't. We print the number on any tire whose tread-life warranty we can verify, and we leave it blank on the rest rather than guess at it.
