Returns & the fitment guarantee
30 days to be sure. If the tire doesn't fit your vehicle and it hasn't been mounted, the return ships back on us.

Template — have a lawyer review before launch
Plain-language starting template. It describes how Tirestok is actually built to operate, but it has not been reviewed by a lawyer — have counsel read it against your final business before you take real orders.
01
The 30-day fitment guarantee
You have 30 days from the delivery date to tell us a tire doesn't fit. If the size is wrong for your vehicle — it rubs, it doesn't clear the caliper, the load rating is below your placard — send it back and we refund it in full.
This is a fitment guarantee, so it's about the tire matching your vehicle, not about changing your mind on the tread pattern. Change-of-mind returns are still possible inside the same window; the difference is who pays the freight, below.
02
Condition we need it back in
A returned tire has to be resalable, which in practice means:
- Never mounted on a wheel — no bead marks, no mounting lube, no balance weights.
- Never driven on, indoors or out.
- No cuts, gouges, paint, stickers, marker or road grime.
- Original manufacturer labels still attached and legible.
- For wheels: unmounted, untorqued, and free of hub or lug marks.
- For accessories: unopened, or at least uninstalled and unprogrammed in the case of TPMS sensors.
03
Once a tire is mounted, it's yours
This is the one hard line in the policy, and it isn't arbitrary: a mounted tire can't be legally resold as new, so a return would cost us the full value of the set. Test-fit one tire before your installer mounts all four. Any shop will do that in a few minutes.
If a mounted tire has a genuine defect, that isn't a return — it's a warranty claim, and the warranty page is where to start it.
04
Who pays the return shipping
Our mistake, our cost. If we shipped the wrong size, the wrong model, or a set that doesn't match your order, we cover the return freight and the replacement freight, and you're never out of pocket.
Wrong size ordered against your vehicle — the fitment case — is also on us, once inside the 30-day window and in the condition above. That's the point of the guarantee.
Change of mind is the exception: return freight comes off your refund at the carrier's actual cost for your zone. We show you that number in writing before anything is picked up, so there's no surprise on the credit.
05
How to start a return
Email sales@tirestok.ca with your order number and one line about what's wrong. Photos of the tires and their labels help us approve it the same day.
We'll email you a return authorization and a prepaid carrier label or a pickup appointment — a full set goes back as freight, so the carrier comes to you. Repalletize the tires the way they arrived if you can, and keep the authorization number on the outside.
Someone needs to be at the address for the pickup, the same as for the delivery. Please don't ship a return back on your own account before we've authorized it; unannounced returns are hard to match to an order and slow the refund down.
06
Refund timing
We inspect returns within three business days of arrival at the warehouse and issue the refund the same day it passes.
Refunds go back to the original payment method: card refunds typically appear in 5–10 business days depending on your bank, PayPal within about three, and Interac e-Transfer refunds are sent to the email address that funded the order.
Sales tax and provincial eco fees are refunded with the tires. The original delivery charge is refunded when the error was ours; on a change-of-mind return the outbound delivery charge, if you paid one, stays.
07
Damaged or wrong on arrival
Inspect the pallet before you sign for it. If anything is damaged, missing or plainly not what you ordered, email sales@tirestok.ca with photos within 48 hours of delivery.
We'll ship the replacement or refund you, and the return costs nothing. Reporting late doesn't void your order, but freight carriers reject damage claims filed after their window, which limits what we can recover on your behalf.
08
Cancelling before it ships
If your order hasn't been released to the carrier yet, email sales@tirestok.ca and we'll cancel it and refund you in full — no restocking fee, no questions. Once a pallet is scanned by the carrier it's in motion, and the return process above takes over.
