Terms of service

tirestok.ca is operated by Tirestok, a tire retailer shipping across Canada from Toronto, ON. Using the site or placing an order means you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, don't order.

You must be at least the age of majority in your province to place an order.

Placing an order is an offer to buy, not a completed contract. The contract forms when we accept your order — in practice, when we release it to the carrier and email you a tracking number.

We may decline or cancel an order and refund you in full if the item turns out to be unavailable at our distributor, if a price or specification was published in error, or if we can't verify the payment or the delivery address. If your card was already charged, the refund goes back to the same method.

Every price on this site is in Canadian dollars. Prices shown exclude sales tax and provincial tire recycling (eco) fees, both of which are calculated from your delivery province and itemized before you pay — no line item appears after checkout that wasn't on the summary.

Prices can change at any time, but the price you saw when you placed the order is the price we honour. Advertised prices assume the item is in stock at the time of ordering.

Obvious pricing errors — a decimal in the wrong place, a set of four listed at the price of a valve stem — are not binding. If one happens, we'll tell you before charging you, and you can confirm at the corrected price or cancel for a full refund.

Our catalogue reflects our distributor's live inventory, which moves during the day and is shared with other retailers. An item can sell out between your click and our release to the carrier. When that happens we contact you with the options — wait for the restock, swap to an equivalent size, or take a full refund. We do not substitute a different tire without your explicit approval.

Tirestok is a delivery business. We do not mount, balance, install, torque, program TPMS sensors, align, store or dispose of tires, and nothing on this site should be read as offering those services. Your order arrives at the address you gave us and installation is entirely up to you and the shop you choose.

Tires ship as palletized freight. Someone must be at the delivery address to receive the shipment; the carrier will not leave a pallet unattended. Transit times quoted on the shipping page are business-day estimates from our warehouse, not guarantees — weather, road closures and carrier backlogs happen, and we don't control them.

Delivery is free on orders over $500 before tax everywhere except the territories, where a flat rate applies. Full rates are on the shipping page.

Title and risk of loss pass to you when the carrier delivers the shipment to your address.

Inspect the pallet before you sign. If something arrived damaged, short-shipped or plainly wrong, note it on the carrier's paperwork if you can, and email sales@tirestok.ca with photos within 48 hours of delivery. Damage claims raised inside that window are ours to solve. After it, freight carriers will usually refuse the claim and our hands are tied.

We sell tires by size, load index and speed rating. We do not have your vehicle in front of us, and we can't confirm that a size clears your suspension, your brakes or your fender.

Check the placard in your driver's door jamb or your owner's manual before you order. If you get it wrong, the 30-day fitment guarantee on the returns page is there for exactly that — but the check is yours to make.

Every tire we sell is new, current-production stock carrying the manufacturer's own warranty. That warranty is between you and the manufacturer: they write the terms, they set the prorating, and they decide claims. We are the retailer, not the maker.

What we do is the paperwork. Send us the claim and we open the file with the brand on your behalf, chase it, and pass the decision back to you. We don't charge for that and we don't make you call a brand call centre.

We do not currently sell road-hazard cover. Damage from potholes, punctures and curb strikes is normally excluded by a manufacturer's warranty, so it is not covered by anything we offer today. If that changes, this page changes with it.

Tirestok makes no warranty of its own beyond what's stated here and in the returns policy. Nothing in these terms removes a warranty or condition that provincial consumer protection law implies and does not allow us to exclude.

Returns are governed by our returns policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: 30 days, unmounted and unused, and if the fitment problem is ours the return shipping is ours too.

The catalogue, photography, layout and copy on tirestok.ca belong to us or our suppliers. You're welcome to read, print and share pages. You may not scrape the site, republish the catalogue as your own, or use our pricing data to run a competing storefront.

Don't attempt to break, overload or probe the site, and don't submit someone else's personal information through our forms.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for the products in that order.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — missed work, towing, rental cars, lost income, or the cost of installation labour on a tire that later fails. Tires are a safety component: have them installed, inspected and maintained by a qualified shop, and follow the manufacturer's pressure and rotation guidance.

Some provinces do not allow certain limitations of liability or exclusions of implied warranties. Where that's the case, the limitations above apply only as far as that province permits, and your statutory rights as a consumer are untouched.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of Ontario have jurisdiction, without limiting any right you have to bring a claim in the province where you live.

We may update these terms. The version in force for your order is the one published when you placed it, and the date at the top of this page tells you when it last changed. Questions go to sales@tirestok.ca.
